The park houses endangered species like the Bengal Tiger and one-horned rhinoceros.

Along the trip, we can see numerous mammals like grey Langur, sloth bears, and the hog deer. Enjoy the elephant ride and feed bananas and fruits to these gentle giants. Enjoy some canoeing in the Geruwa River and get a rare sight of the Gangetic dolphins and mugger crocodiles.   • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

    Arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport and meet our representative who shall transfer you to your hotel. You will meet the tour members and authorities who will brief you about the tour. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj. Drive to Bardia National Park via Kohalpur

    Get up early in the morning and head to the airport to catch a flight to Nepalgunj. The flight lasts for about an hour and provides a scenic display of the snowy mountains which slowly transform into flat plains. At Nepalgunj, you’ll feel the blistering heat. Get all your stuff together and head to the Bardia National Park. We will use the route via Kohalpur. The road is quite contrasting with that of Kathmandu in the sense that you won’t see any hills but plains everywhere. You can enjoy the Tharu cultural dance in the evening. Tharu’s are the indigenous ethnic group residing in the plains of Terai. Overnight stay in Bardia National Park.

  • Day 03: Full day exploration of Bardia National Park

    Today, we explore the myths and mysteries of the Bardia National Park. Established in 1998, it covers an area of 968 sq. km. The park is pretty humid and comprises of green trees everywhere. About 70% of the park is covered by grassland and riverine forests. We have the option of either going jungle safari or roaming the forest premises on foot. The park is home to about 839 species of flora and 642 species of fauna. Observe the beautiful Karnali River and feel the serenity as you walk through the forests in the national park. We rest near the park premises for the day. Overnight in Bardia National Park.

  • Day 04: Half day exploration of the Bardia National Park and drive back to Nepalgunj

    The gigantic Bardia National Park cannot be explored in a single day so, today also we shall explore it. We venture further into the park and try to scout the rare Bengal tiger and one-horned rhinoceros. Due to the recent conservation efforts, the number of tigers is increasing. Enjoy the jiggling elephant ride and don’t forget to bath with these gentle creatures. After having lunch in the park, we head back to Nepalgunj. We shall use either a private vehicle or a public one. Upon arrival in Nepalgunj, head to your hotel. Overnight stay in Nepalgunj.

  • Day 05: Fly back to Kathmandu

    Today, we book a flight and head to Kathmandu. The timing may vary a bit. The flight lasts for about an hour but provides an opportunity to explore the necessary ambiance. Once in Kathmandu, you can make preparations to head to your destination. Any plans to extend your stay in the country are viable as well. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 06: Departure

    Today is your final day in Kathmandu and our representative will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure.
