If you are planning to visit Tibet from Nepal, then you need to fill the Tibet Permit Application and you have to get the Group Tourist Visa to enter Tibet. To apply for the Tibet permit, you will need a Chinese Visa first. After obtaining the Chinese Visa and Tibet permit, you can legally board either train or flight to reach Lhasa. Normally it takes around 8 to 9 days to process to get a permit. The Permit will not be delivered to your country; You’ll need to fill a form, passport, and confirm your tour itinerary. The price of the travel permit will vary. There aren’t any long flights that lead directly to Tibet, and you have to stop in Beijing or other cities. You have the option of going by road from the passes in Nepal.
